This is how you should read the Bible for understanding. It can’t be understood just reading it left to right. There are many connections across books and precepts (concepts already understood) that you need to use to your advantage.
There’s a lot of history that a majority of people overlook the first time reading about the flood. Something the modern-day Bible doesn’t emphasize that much (you have to connect the dots) is that the people who were killed were either literally genetically modified OR not keeping the commandments.
