Discredited "2.2 Million Dead in US" Prof. Neil Ferguson Was Funded by Gates Foundation, Belgians File Lawsuit Against Both
Professor Neil Ferguson should need no introduction to anyone living under a full or partial lockdown. The Imperial College mathematician whose model projecting 2.2 million dead in the US provided the basis for everything we see around us now, which is unprecedented. Masks, social distancing, business closures, loss of liberties, and a relentless focus on a new vaccine that must eventually be given to everyone, despite the most recent coronavirus (there are actually many) having an overall updated survival rate to 99.8%, very similar to flu which is 99.9%. While it is true that severe cases of COVID can have serious after-effects, this is true of any serious case of a respiratory disease, including flu.
In 1957 the Asian Flu pandemic took 116,000 American lives. Because the US population was about half what it is now, in per capita terms the death toll was as severe. Yet there was never any mention of lockdowns or masks. Indeed, much of the population did not know it was going on.
The National Review reports on Ferguson:
Johan Giesecke, the former chief scientist for the European Center for Disease Control and Prevention, has called Ferguson’s model “the most influential scientific paper” in memory. He also says it was, sadly, “one of the most wrong.”
Dr. Jay Schnitzer of the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center in San Diego put it even more bluntly:
“I’m normally reluctant to say this about a scientist, but he dances on the edge of being a publicity-seeking charlatan.”
What put Ferguson in the news recently, however, was not being wrong about the relationship between COVID deaths and "mitigation" measures, as Sweden bears out. Without ever mandating masks or business or school closures, the Swedish deaths-per-capita rate is lower than the US, Italy, Spain, UK, Belgium, and other countries which did harsh lockdowns.
Ferguson was in the news for flouting of the lockdown policies he himself had a key role in bringing about. In the UK Ferguson broke his quarantine to visit his married lover, when he had COVID. Which was his business as far as whom he sees, but was in direct violation of the rules his model erected for billions around the world.
Sweden this summer, no lockdown, no mask laws
On the other side of the Pond, billionaire-frontman for the "Decade ofVaccines," Bill Gates, has been busy for years preaching the gospel that more vaccination is the solution to many of the world's problems. Especially the problems of poor people.
Not clean water. Not better sanitation, two far bigger causes of death in countries in which to this day the river that you must drink from is the same river you defecate into, in a cycle of poverty and official neglect that only seems to change when someone like a Fidel Castro comes along.
The Decade of Vaccines was announced as an official Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation project in 2010. A Foundation press release said:“Vaccines are a miracle—with just a few doses, they can prevent deadly diseases for a lifetime,” said Melinda Gates. “We’ve made vaccines our number-one priority at the Gates Foundation because we’ve seen first hand their incredible impact on children’s lives.”
Not a "number-one priority" for Gates is stopping the use of glyphosate - better known by Monsanto's trade name Roundup - the most widely-used pesticide in the world. The WHO has classified glyphosate as "probably carcinogenic to humans," but the Gates Foundation is not as interested in this issue. In 2010, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation bought 500,000 shares of Monsanto, a leading producer of Roundup, worth a total of $23 billion. Bill Gates is also a well-known supporter of GMO foods, most of which are engineered solely to withstand Roundup.
It is important to understand that Professor Ferguson's model shutting down the world was not wrong just as a matter of degree, a few more deaths than predicted here, a few less there. The assumptions made in Ferguson's model to get to 2.2 million dead in the US were so far off that they entered the realm of wild speculation. In the words of Dr. Mike Yeadon, a former Chief Science Officer and Vice President for Pzifer:"It's important that you know most scientists don't accept that his [Ferguson's model] was even faintly right."
And yet, Yeadon said, referring to his, the British, government:
...but the government is still wedded to the model."
The National Review reports that Ferguson is viewed as having been wrong for most of his career.
"Ferguson was behind the disputed research that sparked the mass culling of eleven million sheep and cattle during the 2001 outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease. Charlotte Reid, a farmer’s neighbor, recalls: “I remember that appalling time. Sheep were left starving in fields near us. Then came the open air slaughter. The poor animals were panic stricken. It was one of the worst things I’ve witnessed. And all based on a model — if’s but’s and maybe’s.”
Ferguson’s nicknames in the science community have been reported to be “Master of Disaster” and “Professor Lockdown.”
In other words, it is as if the map in the captain's hands, Ferguson's model, is now known to be total junk, but the captain is proceeding full speed ahead based on what that map says. Now, imagine the surprise of many when it turns out that significant funding for "Professor Lockdown" just last March, at about the same time that he published his famously wrong map, came from none other than the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The very same Foundation which has stated that world vaccination is its "number-one priority."
If there is any single over-arching destination for the lockdowns, it is to prepare the world for universal vaccinations. Gates himself said, in April to Fox News host Chris Wallace:“[we cannot] go back to truly normal until we have a vaccine that we’ve gotten out to basically the entire world.”
In a research funding database maintained by the UK Research and Innovation website, it can be seen that Gates made donations of nearly $8 million to research led by Neil Ferguson in March and April of 2020, to the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis, based at Imperial College, which Ferguson co-founded in 2008.
It is well reported elsewhere that the Gates Foundation has been a generous donor to Imperial College, and Ferguson in particular.
Business Insider reports:Ferguson co-founded the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis, based at Imperial, in 2008. It is the leading body advising national governments on pathogen outbreaks. It gets tens of millions of dollars in annual funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation...
Gates largess also included a separate, unrelated grant of $79 million to Imperial College in March. This makes nearly $100 million to Ferguson or his institution in the months of March and April, as Ferguson's paper is released, entitled “Report 9 - Impact of non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPIs) to reduce COVID-19 mortality and healthcare demand”

The lockdowns would not have been possible without Ferguson’s academic underpinnings for governments to cite, including Dr. Anthony Fauci of the US Coronavirus Task Force. And standing in the shadows with millions for Ferguson and Imperial College is Bill Gates.
So to recap, the man who seems most interested, and with the resources to back it up, in bringing universal vaccination to the world cites the assumptions of a lockdown model which has been thoroughly discredited. These assumptions are that we can never shake hands again, hug and exchange familial kisses without fear, until a vaccine is rolled out.
The model behind this man's assumptions is created by a man wth a dubious reputation in the scientific community. But best of all, Man One pays Man Two money to come up with exactly the pseudo-science he needs to scare people into following him down a primrose path into a new unprecedented regime of universal vaccinations. Possibly coerced by denying employment, travel, and other basic rights to resisters.There is already one lawsuit underway, in Belgium, which names Gates and Ferguson as defendants in a scheme to defraud the public.
What do the men gain if this is indeed a criminal conspiracy according to national and international laws? At the very least Ferguson has his millions from Gates. We do not know what other arrangements. It is public record that the Gates Foundation is heavily invested in the same biotech companies which stand to profit from massive COVID vaccination campaigns. Because Gates' enormous personal wealth is private, it is not known what all his investments are.
It is interesting, however, that over the years, Gates' personal wealth has gone up faster than Gates Foundation assets. Contrary to the cultivated narrative that now later in life, Gates is giving much of his wealth away, Gates is only getting richer and richer.You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.”

In this 40-minute video, Reiner Fuellmich and his associate Viviane Fischer, attorneys and founding members of the German Corona Investigative Committee, interview an unidentified whistleblower at a nursing home in Berlin, Germany.
The whistleblower, a caregiver, describes what happened at the care facility during and after the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines. The whistleblower’s voice has been distorted to protect the individual’s identity and is in German with English subtitles.
The whistleblower describes how seven of 31 nursing home residents with dementia died after the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, and an eighth was near death at the time the interview was recorded.
After the second dose, 11 more residents became seriously ill and one more died.
In other words, 25% of the residents died immediately, and 36% were severely injured within a short time.
The video contains de-identified footage from the nursing home, where a team of three or four people, including a soldier in uniform, vaccinate residents, in many cases using force. The footage is troubling as it shows some people resisting the shots, being vaccinated nonetheless.
Fischer has filed a complaint on behalf of the whistleblower with prosecutors and the police. They seek an investigation by law enforcement and publicity about this information to halt further deaths.
An investigation into the deaths at this particular nursing home won’t be the first investigation into deaths among the elderly in care facilities, after being vaccinated with a COVID vaccine — there have been many reports of elderly people dying after the vaccines.
In January, officials in Norway and Germany said they were looking into deaths following the vaccine. Last month, in Spain, officials temporarily halted vaccines after 46 nursing home residents died after getting the vaccine.
The Global Times reported last week that 16 elderly people in Switzerland died following COVID vaccinations.
In the U.S., according to the latest available data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, the average age of those who died following COVID vaccines is 77.8.

Those that cowardly hide, frightened to speak out about this megalomaniac’s unscientific policies that are destroying Victoria and costing untold lives, will have to live with themselves for decades to come.
Last week I quit my job as an economist in the Victorian Department of Finance and Treasury so that I would be free to speak out against the state’s management of the COVID-19 infection.
I had made a number of criticisms of the state government on social media. The head of human relations at Treasury asked me to remove them.
I considered deleting the few direct criticisms, but they wanted all indirect criticism removed too. I resigned on the same day, the only honourable course for a free citizen of Australia.
I never dreamed I would see some of the tactics being used to defend the state’s health.
The pandemic policies being pursued in Australia – particularly in Victoria – are the most heavy-handed possible, a sledgehammer to kill a swarm of flies. These policies are having hugely adverse economic, social and health effects, with the poorer sections of the community that don’t have the ability to work from home suffering the most.
Australia is signalling to the world that it is closed for business and doesn’t care for human freedoms. This will dampen business investment but also impact future skilled migration, the education industry and tourism.
The whole thing hinges on the scare created by politicians and health professionals. For instance, Victoria’s Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton claims this is the “greatest public health challenge since the Spanish flu”.
But this is no Spanish flu – we can verify that easily.
The Spanish flu killed at least 50 million people worldwide in 1918 when the global population was 1.8 billion. Proportionately, to be as lethal as Spanish flu, a virus would have to kill at least 210 million people today. Instead, only around 0.9 million have died so far (compare this also with the 60 million who ordinarily die each year).
What about a second wave?
There has never been a second wave hundreds of times bigger than the first. We can be reasonably certain that while this virus may create further ripples, its ultimate magnitude will end up in the range of the 1957 Asian flu.
The need for good policy process does not disappear just because we face a public health crisis.
But even if the pandemic had been as big as the Spanish flu, lockdowns could never have been justified. There are strong scientific arguments against lockdowns too.
So what should the government have done?
The data were clear from February itself that the elderly are many times more vulnerable to a serious outcome than the young. It was necessary, therefore, to work out a targeted age-based strategy and start aggressively protecting and isolating the elderly, even as the rest of the population was advised on relevant precautions. But that wasn’t done.
The need for good policy process does not disappear just because we face a public health crisis. In fact, it gets even more urgent.
The Victorian Guide to Regulation notes that “It is not possible for governments to provide a completely ‘risk free’ society, or to prevent every possible event that might cause harm”. Further: “The direct and indirect costs imposed by regulatory approaches may not be … immediately obvious. Risk regulation that is poorly targeted or costly will divert resources from other priorities.”
Governments back in February needed to commission a cost-benefit analysis of alternative policy options that took into account different scenarios (such as with and without a vaccine).
Thereafter, the best option had to be picked given the uncertainty, but consistent also with the need to intrude minimally into human freedoms.

This cost-benefit analysis and policies needed then to be updated as new information emerged (such as the fact that epidemiological models have badly exaggerated the risk).
Governments should have also realised at the outset that they are hostage to chronic groupthink and actively sought alternative advice.
I attempted repeatedly to raise my voice within my public sector role, but my attempts were rebuffed. The bureaucracy has clamped down on frank and fearless, impartial advice, in a misplaced determination to support whatever the government decides, (instead of performing its taxpayer-funded duty of providing forthright analysis of alternatives).
While there is scientific argument against lockdowns, there are divergent views on matters such as the effectiveness of masks. I am a mask fanatic but there was never any reason to mandate these debatable requirements.
Voluntary, performance-based rules would allow the private sector to innovate, leaving people with the power of agency, to determine their own fate – thereby minimising economic harm, and harm to mental health and general well-being.
People need to stand up all across Australia!!!

The owners of an organic grocery store in Australia have been arrested in a wild clash with police over their refusal to allow mask use inside their store for “hygiene reasons”.
New South Wales Police attended the store at Bowral in the NSW Southern Highlands just after midday yesterday after multiple reports from members of the public about non-compliance.
The store has posted its own footage of the intense scenes that followed.
It shows the store’s female owner being bundled into the back of a police van by two police officers.
When the male owner stepped in to object to her arrest, he was grabbed by officers, slammed into the back of the van and then wrestled to the ground.
The store’s Instagram page – which contains a number of anti-mask posts and others questioning Covid-19 vaccines – the owners claimed the drama had begun inside the store when police were called about the shop’s opposition to mask use.
This opposition can be seen in a sign outside the shop which claims masks are unhygienic, and states that customers who wear them won’t be served.
It also informs customers who have been vaccinated that they are not welcome for up to 10-14 days after their shot.
“For over 1.5 hours the police discussed this with owners,” the post said.
“A customer and a friend decided to film the discussion – that’s when it all kicked off. They refused to allow the filming and forcibly tried to remove her from the store.”
The owners accused an officer of putting her hands behind her back and pushing her from the store.
The video showed the male shopkeeper approaching officers as they tried to put the female owner into the police van, and he asked “what has she done?” as the officers warned him to “walk away”.
After the woman was pushed inside the van, the owner was immediately grabbed by an officer, to which he shouted “don’t touch me”.
Officers then pushed the owner against the back of the van with enough force to knock the cap from his head, and pushed a hand into his face.
Police said the pair were arrested for allegedly breaching public health orders.
They said they observed employees and customers not wearing masks and were told by those people that they did not plan to fall in line with the directive.
A 62-year-old woman was arrested for refusing to provide police with her details and another woman, a 61-year-old customer, was arrested for not wearing a mask in the store.
The 62-year-old was later released however the 61-year-old was issued with a $200 penalty infringement notice for not wearing a face covering in a place of business.
A man was also charged with assaulting police and resisting an officer in the execution of duty after he followed police outside.
He will appear in Moss Vale Local Court next month

Police have issued another set of charges against the owners of a cafe in Bowral, in the NSW Southern Highlands, for breaching COVID rules.
Police say about 20 people, including staff, at The Organic Food Store were not wearing face masks inside on Saturday at lunchtime.
It's alleged that when officers asked them to wear masks, the employees "expressed they had no intention of complying."
Officers then arrested two women aged 62 and 43, who will face court charged with breaching public heath directions.
The women were also arrested on Thursday and charged with similar offences.
A 63-year-old man was also charged on Thursday with assaulting and resisting a police officer, inciting others to resist a police officer, and failing to comply with a direction prohibiting spitting and coughing.
Meanwhile, authorities are on the verge of ordering the closure of another regional NSW cafe that has repeatedly violated COVID-19 rules.

What we do know is that even at the highest levels from the Vatican down, they’ve said that the source of this vaccine is not a reason not to be vaccinated. When a new epidemic is launched and promoted, despite the lack of good science and good evidence, it is jacked up on television screens. Images begin to flow:
An emergency medical vehicle on a street. EMT personnel, in hazmat suits, load a man strapped down to a stretcher, into the van. On another street, a man collapses on the sidewalk. We see a quarantined man sitting inside a huge plastic bubble on a third street. Cut to an airport lobby. Soldiers are patrolling the space among the crowds. Cut to a lab. Close-up of vials of liquid. Camera pulls back. Techs in light green scrubs are placing the vials into slots of a table-top machine. Auditorium---a man on a platform, wearing a doctor’s white coat, is pointing a wand at a large screen, on which a chart is displayed, for the audience. Back to the street. People are wearing face masks.
These images wash over the television viewer. Meanwhile, the anchor is imparting his prepared meaning: “The government today issued a ban on all travel into and out of the city…hundreds of plane flights have been cancelled. Scientists are rushing to develop a vaccine…”
The television audience has an IMPRESSION of knowing something. They’re in the flow, the flow of the news…they’re in the images…
---Network, the 1976 film written by Paddy Chayefsky, reveals what media kings would do if they unchained their basic instincts and galloped all the way into the madness of slash-and-burn Roman Circus.
The audience is jaded beyond recall. It needs new shocks to the system every day. The adrenaline must flow. The line between reporting the news and inventing it? Erase it. Celebrate the erasure. Watch ratings soar.
Why pretend anymore? Why spend countless hours preparing and broadcasting synthetic artificial news, as if it were real? Does the audience care about such niceties? The audience just wants action.
The film proceeds from these premises.
Arthur Jensen, head of the corporation that owns the Network, speaks to unhinged Network newsman, Howard Beale, who has revealed, on-air, a piece of the real planetary power structure in a few moments of sanity: “You have meddled with the primal forces of nature, Mr. Beale, and I won’t have it!! Is that clear?!… You are an old man who thinks in terms of nations and peoples. There are no nations. There are no peoples. There are no Russians. There are no Arabs. There are no third worlds. There is no West. There is only one holistic system of systems, one vast and immane, interwoven, interacting, multivariate, multinational dominion of dollars. Petro-dollars, electro-dollars, multi-dollars, reichmarks, rins, rubles, pounds, and shekels. It is the international system of currency which determines the totality of life on this planet. That is the natural order of things today. That is the atomic and subatomic and galactic structure of things today! And YOU have meddled with the primal forces of nature, and YOU WILL ATONE!”
Head of programming for the Network, Diana Christensen, shifts the whole news department over to the entertainment division.
Thus emerge new shows with soaring ratings: Howard Beale, [Religious] Prophet of the Air Waves; The Mao Tse-Tung Hour, in which a guerrilla group films itself carrying out armed bank robberies; and Sybil the Soothsayer, a Tarot reader.
Diana becomes the network’s new executive star.
There is no longer even a pretense of a need for news anchors to appear authoritative, objective, or rational.
Diana Christensen is unstoppable. She sees, with burning clarity, that audiences are bored to the point of exhaustion; they now require, as at the end of the Roman Empire, extreme entertainment. They want more violence, more insanity, out in the open. On television.
In promoting her kind of news division, she tells network executives:
“Look, we’ve got a bunch of
hobgoblin radicals called the
Ecumenical Liberation Army who
go around taking home movies
of themselves robbing banks.
Maybe they’ll take movies of
themselves kidnapping heiresses,
hijacking 747’s, bombing bridges,
assassinating ambassadors.
We’d open each week’s segment
with that authentic footage,
hire a couple of writers to
write some story behind that
footage, and we’ve got
ourselves a series…
“Did you see the overnights on the
Network News? It has an 8 in New
York and a 9 in L.A. and a 27 share
in both cities. Last night, Howard
Beale went on the air [as a newscaster] and yelled
‘BULLSHIT’ for two minutes, and I
can tell you right now that tonight’s
show will get a 30 share at least.
I think we’ve lucked into something…
“I see Howard Beale as a latter-day
prophet, a magnificent messianic
figure, inveighing against the
hypocrisies of our times, a strip
Savonarola, Monday through Friday.
I tell you, Frank, that could just
go through the roof…Do you want to figure out
the revenues of a strip show that
sells for a hundred thousand bucks
a minute? One show like that could
pull this whole network right out
of the hole! Now, Frank, it’s being
handed to us on a plate; let’s not
blow it!”
Television in the “real world” isn’t all the way there yet, but it’s close.
In Network, Diana Christensen personifies the news. She is the electric, thrill-seeking, non-stop force that is terrified of silence.
She lives and feeds on adrenaline. So does the viewing public. Nothing else ultimately matters. Ratings are the top line and the bottom line. The individual and his thoughts are completely irrelevant.
Howard Beale, over the cliff, a news man screaming on-air about the insanity of the news, is perfectly acceptable, because the audience is simply responding to Beale’s inchoate outrage and their own. Nothing deeper is explored. What could have resulted in a true popular rebellion is short-circuited. Beale becomes a crazy loon, a novelty item. Yet one more distraction.
When, in a brief interlude of clarity, he begins telling his audience about the takeover of society by mega-corporations and mega-money, his show droops. Ratings collapse. Diana is no longer interested in him; she wants to sack him.
However, Arthur Jensen, the head of the corporation that owns the television network, wants to keep Beale on the air, as a messenger of the “galactic truth” about the beneficial integration of all human activity under the rubric of global money and global power. He converts Beale to his cause.
Diana sees only one way out of this ratings disaster: kill Beale; on-air; during his show. And so it is done.

Network also shows us the audience becoming actor, player, participant. The audience is jumping out of its skin to be recognized, courted, and adored as a mighty rolling force embodying no particular meaning.
Audience wants to be a star. Audience wants to BE news; audience wants its actions to be shown on television. That establishes its legitimacy. Nothing else is necessary.
Diana knows it, and she is more than willing to accommodate this frantic desire, if only her bosses will let her go all the way.
The best film ever made about television’s war on the population, Network stages only a few minutes of on-air television.
The rest of the film is dialogue and monologue about television. Thus you could say that, in this case, word defeats image. Which was scriptwriter Paddy Chayefsky’s intent.
Even when showing what happens on the TV screen, Network bursts forth with lines like these, from newsman Howard Beale, at the end of his rope, on-camera, speaking to his in-studio audience and millions of people in their homes:
“So, you listen to me. Listen to me! Television is not the truth. Television’s a god-damned amusement park. Television is a circus, a carnival, a traveling troupe of acrobats, storytellers, dancers, singers, jugglers, sideshow freaks, lion tamers, and football players. We’re in the boredom-killing business… We deal in illusions, man. None of it is true! But you people sit there day after day, night after night, all ages, colors, creeds. We’re all you know. You’re beginning to believe the illusions we’re spinning here. You’re beginning to think that the tube is reality and that your own lives are unreal. You do whatever the tube tells you. You dress like the tube, you eat like the tube, you raise your children like the tube. You even think like the tube. This is mass madness. You maniacs. In God’s name, you people are the real thing. We are the illusion.”
It is Beale’s language and the passion with which he delivers it that constitutes his dangerous weapon. Therefore, the Network transforms him into a cheap religious figure, whose audience slathers him with absurd adoration.
Television’s enemy is the word. Its currency is image.
Beale occasionally breaks through the image and defiles it. He cracks the egg. He stops the picture-flow. He brings back the sound and rhythm of spoken poetry. That is his true transgression against the medium that employs him.
The modern matrix has everything to do with how knowledge is acquired.
Television, in the main, does not attempt to impart knowledge. It strives to give the viewer the impression that he knows something. There is a difference.
The impression of knowing is a feeling, a conviction, a belief the viewer holds, after he has watched moving images on a screen and listened to a narrator. THIS is what the viewer prefers. He wants no part of knowledge.
A basic premise of modern age is: “everything is (connected to) everything.” This fits quite well with the experience of watching video flow.
Example: we see angry crowds on the street of a foreign city. Then young people on their cell phones sitting in an outdoor café. Then the marble lobby of a government building where men in suits are walking, standing in groups talking to each other. Then at night, rockets exploding in the sky. Then armored vehicles moving through a gate into the city. Then clouds of smoke on another street and people running, chased by police.
A flow of consecutive images. The sequence, obviously, has been assembled by a news editor, but most of the viewing audience isn’t aware of that. They’re watching the “interconnected” images and listening to a news anchor tell a story that colors (infects) every image: “This is revolution for democracy, created by the technology of cell phones…”
Viewers thus believe something. Television has imparted a sensation to them.
Therefore: a short circuit occurs in the mind.
When you export this pattern out to a whole society, you are talking about a dominant method through which “knowledge” is groped and held close.
“Did you see that fantastic video about the Iraq War? It showed that Saddam actually had bioweapons.”
“Really? How did they show that?”
“Well, I don’t remember. But watch it. You’ll see.”
And that’s another feature of the modern acquisition of “knowledge”: amnesia about details.
The viewer can’t recall key features of what he saw. Or if he can, he can’t describe them, because he was inside them, busy building up his impression of knowing something.
Narrative-visual-television story strips out and discards conceptual analysis. To the extent it exists, it’s wrapped around and inside the image and the narration.
Paddy Chayefsky made his pen a sword, because he was writing a movie about television, against television. He was pitting Word against Image.
When a technology (television) turns into a method of perception, reality is turned inside out. People watch TV through TV eyes.
Mind control is no longer something merely imposed from the outside. It is a matrix of a self-feeding, self-demanding loop.
Willing Devotees of the Image WANT images, food stamps of the programmed society.
The triumph of Network is that it makes its words win over pictures, IN a picture, IN a film.

A pandemic, the false pandemic I’ve been rejecting in many articles, is delivered through video flow and narration. Stacked and cut images.
There is no challenge to the flow in any basic way, through the intrusion of actual knowledge, because that would shut down the parade of images and nullify the reasons for broadcasting them in the first place.
The old theater adage, “the show must go on,” when adapted for television, becomes, “the flow must go on.” Once its course is set, there can be no turning back.
The television audience, imprisoned in homes, rides the river...

The Con Job of the Century?

Over the course of the past century, a number of truly awe-inspiring heists have been carried out by con artists, whose modus operandi is to exploit human frailties such as credulity, insecurity and greed. Con is short for confidence, for the con artist must first gain the trust of his targets, after which he persuades them to hand their money over to him. A con job differs from a moral transaction between two willing, fully informed trading partners because one of the partners is deceived, and deception constitutes a form of coercion. In other words, the person being swindled is not really free. If he knew what was really going on, he would never agree to invest in the scheme.
