Medical professionals are reporting serious health issues following the covid shots

Medscape has compiled a list of inquiries from doctors and other medical professionals who are speaking out on what they are seeing.

Dr. Brian Lenzkes said most of his patients have not had severe side effects, but he has seen neurological changes in some of his patients. In one case, an elderly male suffered from severe ataxia just two weeks after the Pfizer shot. Just three hours after taking the shot, a 28-year-old came down with acute seizures that devolved into severe tachycardia. Dr. Lenzkes also lost a former patient, who was “extremely healthy with normal labs,” but passed away just eight days after the second shot.

Dr. Cassandra Balomiri, a previously healthy 29-year-old resident doctor, has been experiencing side effects for 15 weeks, post vaccination. She says these adverse events are being ignored en masse. “For the first time in my life I got the feeling that people are just ignored!” she said. It doesn’t matter how many adverse events that she and her colleagues report, “nothing comes out officially.” The information is buried, and patients are left feeling alone, stuck with the problems.

Dr. Candice Black reports “lower leg muscle twitching” post vaccination, a sudden issue that gives her anxiety. She says, “it doesn’t seem to be going away” and is only getting worse.

Dr. Alex Vasquez pointed out that fraud was used to determine the vaccine’s efficacy. “At first the FDA gave emergency authorization based on antibody response which they mislabeled as “efficacy” and now they say that antibodies are meaningless and should not be measured,” he said.

Dr. Peter Angelin said the FDA’s emergency use authorization (EUA) bypasses serious safety concerns, inflicting “short and long-term side effects on different populations.”

Dr. Ivan Iriarte is concerned that the “safe and effective” mantra is being used deceptively and in a violently coercive manner, subjecting countless young, healthy people to serious problems like myocarditis and blood clots. He warns, “This vaccine, if offered at all, should be given only to adults at high risk of COVID, only voluntarily, and only with full disclosure of information.”

Jack Holder, a physical therapist from the UK is disgusted that healthcare practitioners can’t express their concerns without being “branded as an anti-vaxxer or conspiracy theorist.” He has witnessed a surge in patients (recently vaccinated) with “foot pains, inflammation, burning and tingling sensations in feet and legs as well as sciatic pains.” These pains did not exist before, he said, but the patients often do not link the “newly developed pains” to the vaccine, so countless side effects go unreported.

Dr. Signee Hoffman works in a musculoskeletal clinic. He reports on several patients who come in with severe inflammation and musculoskeletal issues after taking the shots. One patient was a 76-year-old woman who was rushed to the ER 72 hours post injection. The shot caused atrial fibrillation, but she was ultimately coerced to get a second dose regardless of her hospitalization. Another patient is a 66-year-old nurse who began vomiting with dry heaves and cold sweats, post vaccination. Her medical doctor said the vaccine reaction was normal! A third patient of his suffered from neuropathy on the left side of her face. She suddenly came down with TMJ pains, severe migraines and was eventually diagnosed with a blood clot in her left popliteal vein.

Sonya T, an RN and hospital administrator, experienced neurological symptoms that lasted twelve hours after the first dose. After the second dose, the neurological symptoms worsened and lasted several months. These symptoms included involuntary movement of the hand and thumb of the vaccinated arm. She also dealt with “muscle twitching” throughout her face and suffered from unexplained headaches and fatigue for four months. She says she would never let her children take the vaccines.

But they haven’t done any correlation as to whether there’s causation there with the vaccines themselves. That research has not been done. “So it’s obvious that what you have is a system that has been set up in order to deceive the public about what is truly happening with these vaccines. And I think they want (to vaccinate) the children because they are now quite scared to see the right questions being asked, and they know that if they want to get the children vaccinated, they’ve got to hurry. So Ms Halton, the offshore organisation you head up took a few 100 million from Uncle Bill and then funneled it to a lab to tell us the vaccines are “safe and effective” despite the fact that at least 10,000 people in Europe have died after getting it and hundreds of thousands injured in varying degrees. Halton, as we reported, is on Scott Morrison’s “COVID advisory commission” that is made up of corporate business leaders who have been sitting, nodding their approval while shutdowns in Victoria and other states decimate the small business sector. Halton also played a key role in Event 201 in 2019, pushing media and government manipulation of a “theoretical” corona virus pandemic on behalf of the Gates-Rockefeller cabal. “Flood the zone (with our message),” said Halton in one discussion, referring to the lockstep media strategy of spreading the official narrative of panic and fear. Halton's actions as a "point man" in bringing the totalitarian COVID lockdown response to Australia are treacherous. She comes across as a greedy, power-driven globalist who doesn’t know when to get off her merry-go-round of influence and highly-paid positions. Fuellmich’s associate Viviane Fischer asked Gerrish whether masks, the bogus testing, vaccination and social distancing all had “foremost a psychological aspect, of being that you’re power-struck or that you have to show obedience?” She also wondered if the plan, technologically and pharmacologically, aimed to get people sick due to substances in test and swab materials and masks actually helping people get infected more easily with a virus or the flu. “So could it be that it’s also really elegantly orchestrated on a medical basis?” “Yes. I think what you are saying is correct,” Gerrish responded. “It’s difficult for people [to imagine]. Applied behavioural psychology

One bitter truth is that we are being manipulated, coerced, frightened and shamed by the state; the very same state that is supposed to have our best interests at heart. The UK and Scottish Governments are using applied behavioural psychology, breaking the ethical guidelines for psychologists, to deliberately ramp up fear in the population. A group of psychologists called SPI-B, part of SAGE, have been tasked with advising the UK and Scottish Governments how to get people to adhere to COVID–19 restrictions. Their document which is freely available on the UK Government website, and which was reported on the UK Column News of 11th May 2020, states the following:

A substantial number of people still do not feel sufficiently personally threatened.

And:

The perceived level of personal threat needs to be increased among those who are complacent, using hard-hitting emotional messaging.

The psychologists of SPI-B and the UK Government knew fear alone would not be enough. Therefore, SPI-B suggested to government the use and promotion of social approval for desired behaviours, to consider enacting legislation to compel required behaviours, and to consider the use of social disapproval for failure to comply. They have used the mainstream media and social media, along with false "fact-checking" and censorship, to get their message across, and it has been working.

Daniel Andrews' government is in secret negotiations with three MPs to try and introduce controversial new pandemic laws, reports suggest.

The Victorian government wants to replace state of emergency laws with permanent pandemic laws that would allow authorities to enforce lockdowns and quarantine for any future health crises, The Age has revealed.

The opposition Liberal Party – who said the proposed laws are not transparent enough – do not have a say in them, because the government will only negotiate with three minor MPs in order to pass the new laws.

It would allow the Victorian government to impose sweeping rules on its people with a moment's notice, after millions endured a year of relentless Covid-19 lockdowns.

The Andrews government has become notorious for snap lockdowns, leaving thousands out of work and school despite other states handling outbreaks with no such draconian orders.

Corrupt NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro has lied to NSW Police to have a journalist Kristo Langker charged for stalking as the video evidence below proves which could end up being his undoing. The reason Barilaro wants Mr Langker jailed is that he and his boss, Jordan Shanks, have been posting videos on the Friendlyjordies YouTube page exposing criminal conduct by John Barilaro.

Kristo Langker has been charged with 2 counts of stalking. The first count of stalking relates to Kristo Langker trying to ask John Barilaro questions at a function, which is on video as per below, with many people around and Mr Barilaro is clearly not concerned for his safety. The second count of stalking relates to Kristo Langker trying to hand Mr Barilaro a legal document, which is also on video as per below, and looks like rock-solid evidence that Mr Barilaro polished up his police statement to make sure Kristo Langker was falsely charged by the police.

And then the police offer says Mr Langker has harassed the Deputy Premier outside a funeral as if the police officer had already found him guilty, but the video proves it was a lie and there was no harassment and certainly no stalking which Mr Langker has been falsely charged with.

Attempt to shut down inquiry cost thousands

AN UNPRECEDENTED attempt by the NSW Crime Commission's to silence a public inquiry into its internal affairs by a corruption watchdog has cost NSW taxpayers more than $386,000. Since last year, the Police Integrity Commission has been investigating the way the NSW Crime Commission has been confiscating criminal proceeds and carving up legal fees for both itself and solicitors representing commission targets. Public hearings were scheduled to begin on Monday, but the PIC announced yesterday that the hearings would be postponed for a second time, until July. Its investigation, dubbed Operation Winjana, has focused on the actions of a senior Crime Commission financial analyst, Lou Novakovic, and his girlfriend, Salina Sadiq, a criminal defence lawyer who has represented commission witnesses. But the investigation has been bitterly contested by the Crime Commission boss, Phillip Bradley. After repeated attempts behind closed doors to stop the inquiry failed, Mr Bradley unsuccessfully sued the PIC in the NSW Supreme Court, alleging it had overstepped its powers.

In all, Mr Bradley spent $174,768.28 on lawyers to fight the court action, according to figures released by the Premier's office this week. The PIC, in defending itself, spent another $211,649. In May Justice Stephen Rothman dismissed the litigation and the acting PIC head, Jerrold Cripps, QC, announced that the public hearings would go ahead. In one of his judgments, Justice Rothman said: ''No doubt these issues can be resolved, as they once were, by referring disputes between statutory bodies to the Solicitor-General.'' In February a Herald investigation revealed the Crime Commission had been sharing the proceeds of crime with known criminals, cutting deals that allow them to walk away with millions of dollars. Instead of litigating in open court to confiscate all proceeds of crime, the commission has been settling most cases by consent for a lesser amount and often before a defendant appears on a criminal charge.

This is a paperback book published by Shane which should be viewed in both its historic and its jurisdictional perspectives by both Australian and Commonwealth lawyers. For those readers unfamiliar with what Dowling submits, these are his main points from his book: “Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced on the 3rd September 2019 that 28% of paedophiles convicted of federal laws do not go to jail so the government is introducing mandatory sentencing laws. By June 2020 when the new laws were passed by the government it had risen to 39%. The minimum inference that can be drawn is that Australian judges and magistrates are running a paedophile protection racket otherwise they would be doing their jobs and jailing the convicted paedophiles.” This is strong stuff with substantial implications for the law of defamation should the allegations be untrue. It must be for the individual to draw his or her own conclusions on what is a clear political policy. Dowling offer two disturbing examples: 1. Judge John North gave a confessed paedophile who abused two young girls a suspended sentence due to the paedophile suffering high cholesterol, sleeping problems, having had no sex education and then protected his identity with a suppression order in November 2017; and 2. Convicted paedophile Robert Crick who sexually abused his 5-year-old grandson avoided jail in May 2020 after the Court of Appeal in NSW felt sorry for him because of his claimed health issues and they were worried he might catch the Coronavirus in jail. The book follows campaigning journalist Dowling, who specialises in judicial and government corruption, as he submits names: 15 judges, 2 registrars and 1 magistrate as either known paedophiles or suspected paedophiles in an email sent to all the judges of the Supreme Court of NSW and relevant authorities. In this review I am intending throughout to be extremely careful to avoid any form of defamation, intentional or implied. The documented evidence, Dowling concludes, “shows Chief Justice Tom Bathurst abusing his position and ordering court staff to stitch Shane Dowling up for 2 jail sentences”. Dowling continues stating that “there is an attempt for a third sentence”, writing “but they still can't stop Shane Dowling exercising his right to political communication and free speech which is the real danger to the likes of Bathurst and Co”. In an era where freedom of speech is under attack across the world, I formed the view that Shane’s book should be read and evaluated by those who know more about this issue than I do. Dowling makes further allegations, stating that there was a $2.2 million mafia bribe to NSW judges reported by the ABC and Fairfax Media in 2015 which Justice David Davies confirmed was true. The evidence for this point is given by a discussion with Dowling in the Supreme Court of NSW on the 30th November 2015. Dowling reported: "Justice Davies said the bribe took place "30 or 40 years ago" in a clear attempt to downplay it as old news. I responded with words to the effect "it didn't happen that long ago as one of the judges has only recently retired and there are other judges still on the bench". Justice Davies then sat there like a stunned mullet and said nothing." Whether this allegation is correct I do not know. At the beginning of the review, I said I would not take sides as I do not know enough about the arguments put forward. However, I read the book with great interest for two reasons of jurisprudence: one, that we have freedom of expression as long as the defamation laws are not broken; and two, that if anything is correct in the book it highlights what many members of the judiciary know- there is massive corruption on a worldwide basis yet common law jurisdictions have always attempted to stamp out such corruption for it is a bad day for the world if such overt corruption is allowed to flourish. We need more books to try to set the record straight, but I just wonder how many are actually taking any notice today of what is being written: only time will tell. The date of publication of this paperback edition is cited as October 2020.

Deadly Medicines and Organised Crime How big pharma has corrupted healthcare PETER C GØTZSCHE

Foreword by Richard Smith There must be plenty of people who shudder when they hear that Peter Gøtzsche will be speaking at a meeting or see his name on the contents list of a journal. He is like the young boy who not only could see that the emperor had no clothes but also said so. Most of us either cannot see that the emperor is naked or will not announce it when we see his nakedness, which is why we badly need people like Peter. He is not a compromiser or a dissembler, and he has a taste for strong, blunt language and colourful metaphors. Some, perhaps many, people might be put off reading this book by Peter’s insistence on comparing the pharmaceutical industry to the mob, but those who turn away from the book will miss an important opportunity to understand something important about the world – and to be shocked. Peter ends his book with a story of how the Danish Society for Rheumatology asked him to speak on the theme Collaboration with the drug industry. Is it THAT harmful? The original title was Collaboration with the drug industry. Is it harmful? but the society thought that too strong. Peter started his talk by enumerating the ‘crimes’ of the meeting’s sponsors. Roche had grown by selling heroin illegally. Abbot blocked Peter’s access to drug regulators’ unpublished trials that eventually showed that a slimming pill was dangerous. UCB too concealed trial data, while Pfizer had lied to the Food and Drug Administration and been fined $2.3 billion in the United States for promoting off label use of four drugs. Merck, the last sponsor, had, said Peter, caused the deaths of thousands of patients with its deceptive behaviour around a drug for arthritis. After this beginning to his talk he launched into his condemnation of the industry. You can imagine being at the meeting, with the sponsors spluttering with rage and the organisers acutely embarrassed. Peter quotes a colleague as saying that he felt ‘my direct approach might have pushed some people away who were undetermined.’ But most of the audience were engaged and saw legitimacy in Peter’s points. The many people who have enthusiastically supported routine mammography to prevent breast cancer deaths might empathise with the sponsors – because Peter has been critical of them and published a book on his experiences around mammography. The important point for me is that Peter was one of few people criticising routine mammography when he began his investigations but – despite intense attacks on him – has been proved largely right. He did not have any particular view on mammography when he was asked by the Danish authorities to look at the evidence, but he quickly concluded that much of the evidence was of poor quality. His general conclusion was that routine mammography might save some lives, although far fewer than enthusiasts said was the case, but at the cost of many false positives, women undergoing invasive and anxiety-creating procedures for no benefit, and of overdiagnosis of harmless cancers. The subsequent arguments around routine mammography have been bitter and hostile, but Peter’s view might now be called the orthodox view. His book on the subject shows in a detailed way how scientists have distorted evidence in order to support their beliefs. I have long recognised that science is carried out by human beings not objective robots and will therefore be prone to the many human failings, but I was shocked by the stories in Peter’s book on mammography. Much of this book is also shocking and in a similar way: it shows how science can be corrupted in order to advance particular arguments and how money, profits, jobs and reputations are the most potent corrupters. Peter does acknowledge that some drugs have brought great benefits. He does so in one sentence: ‘My book is not about the well-known benefits of drugs such as our great successes with treating infections, heart diseases, some cancers, and hormone deficiencies like type 1 diabetes.’ Some readers may think this insufficient, but Peter is very clear that this is a book about the failures of the whole system of discovering, producing, marketing and regulating drugs. It is not a book about their benefits. Many of those who read this book will ask if Peter has over-reached himself in suggesting that the activities of the drug industry amount to organised crime. The characteristics of organised crime, racketeering, is defined in US law as the act of engaging repeatedly in certain types of offence, including extortion, fraud, federal drug offenses, bribery, embezzlement, obstruction of justice, obstruction of law enforcement, tampering with witnesses and political corruption. Peter produces evidence, most of it detailed, to support his case that pharmaceutical companies are guilty of most of these offences. 10And he is not the first to compare the industry with the Mafia or mob. He quotes a former vicepresident of Pfizer, who has said: It is scary how many similarities there are between this industry and the mob. The mob makes obscene amounts of money, as does this industry. The side effects of organized crime are killings and deaths, and the side effects are the same in this industry. The mob bribes politicians and others, and so does the drug industry … The industry has certainly fallen foul of the US Department of Justice many times in cases where companies have been fined billions. Peter describes the top 10 companies in detail, but there are many more. It’s also true that they have offended repeatedly, calculating perhaps that there are large profits to be made by flouting the law and paying the fines. The fines can be thought of as ‘the cost of doing business’ like having to pay for heat, light and rent. Many people are killed by the industry, many more than are killed by the mob. Indeed, hundreds of thousands are killed every year by prescription drugs. Many will see this as almost inevitable because the drugs are being used to treat diseases that themselves kill. But a counterargument is that the benefits of drugs are exaggerated, often because of serious distortions of the evidence behind the drugs, a ‘crime’ that can be attributed confidently to the industry. The great doctor William Osler famously said that it would be good for humankind and bad for the fishes if all the drugs were thrown into the sea. He was speaking before the therapeutic revolution in the middle of the 20th century that led to penicillin, other antibiotics, and many other effective drugs, but Peter comes close to agreeing with him and does speculate that we would be better off without most psychoactive drugs, where the benefits are small, the harms considerable, and the level of prescribing massive. Most of Peter’s book is devoted to building up the case that the drug industry has systematically corrupted science to play up the benefits and play down the harms of their drugs. As an epidemiologist with very high numerical literacy and a passion for detail, so that he is a world leader in critiquing clinical studies, Peter is here on very solid ground. He joins many others, including former editors of the New England Journal of Medicine, in showing this corruption. He shows too how the industry has bought doctors, academics, journals, professional and patient organisations, university departments, journalists, regulators, and politicians. These are the methods of the mob. The book doesn’t let doctors and academics avoid blame. Indeed, it might be argued that drug companies are doing what is expected of them in maximising financial returns for shareholders, but doctors and academics are supposed to have a higher calling. Laws that are requiring companies to declare payments to doctors are showing that very high proportions of doctors are beholden to the drug industry and that many are being paid six figure sums for advising companies or giving talks on their behalf. It’s hard to escape the conclusion that these ‘key opinion leaders’ are being bought. They are the ‘hired guns’ of the industry. And, as with the mob, woe be to anybody who whistleblows or gives evidence against the industry. Peter tells several stories of whistleblowers being hounded, and John le Carré’s novel describing drug company ruthlessness became a bestseller and a successful Hollywood film. So it’s not entirely fanciful to compare the drug industry to the mob, and the public, despite its enthusiasm for taking drugs, is sceptical about the drug industry. In a poll in Denmark the public ranked the drug industry second bottom of those in which they had confidence, and a US poll ranked the industry bottom with tobacco and oil companies. The doctor and author, Ben Goldacre, in his book Bad Pharma raises the interesting thought that doctors have come to see as ‘normal’ a relationship with the drug industry that the public will see as wholly unacceptable when they fully understand it. In Britain doctors might follow journalists, members of Parliament, and bankers into disgrace for failing to see how corrupt their ways have become. At the moment the public tends to trust doctors and distrust drug companies, but the trust could be rapidly lost. Peter’s book is not all about problems. He proposes solutions, some of which are more likely than others to happen. It seems most unlikely that drug companies will be nationalised, but it is likely that all the data used to license drugs will be made available. The independence of regulators should be enhanced. Some countries might be tempted to encourage more evaluation of drugs by public sector organisations, and enthusiasm is spreading for exposing the financial links between drug companies and doctors, professional and patient bodies, and journals. Certainly the management of conflicts of interest needs to be improved. Marketing may be further constrained, and resistance to direct consumer advertising is stiffening. Critics of the drug industry have been increasing in number, respectability, and vehemence, and 11Peter has surpassed them all in comparing the industry with organised crime. One of the iconic moments from my Who Is Bill Gates? documentary is the clip of Gates at the 2010 Aspen Ideas Festival discussing a proposal to increase funding for public education by diverting money from end-of-life care for the elderly and terminally ill. Lamenting the skyrocketing tuition rates for college students, Gates tells the Aspen Institute's Walter Isaacson that, "That’s a trade-o society’s making because of very, very high medical costs and a lack of willingness to say, you know, 'Is spending a million dollars on that last three months of life for that patient—would it be better not to lay o those 10 teachers and to make that trade o in medical cost?' Then, squirming around in his seat and looking over at the audience, Gates acknowledges that there may be some objection to this line of thinking: "But that’s called the 'death panel' and you’re not supposed to have that discussion." A decade ago, when Gates made those remarks, it would be di cult to imagine an idea that was more out of touch with general public sentiment than the idea of "death panels" to free up money to hire more teachers. It was shocking enough to the general public that even the socially inept Gates realized that talking about it was verboten. But what many sitting in the festival audience that day may not have realized is that the idea of trading health care for the elderly for public education funds is not Gates' own novel proposal. In fact, this "death panel" discussion has been around for a long time and that discussion was spearheaded by a relatively obscure—but incredibly in uential—branch of philosophy known as bioethics.

Sky News Australia The Wuhan Institute of Virology kept live bats in cages, new footage from inside the facility has revealed, disproving denials from World Health Organisation investigators who claimed the suggestion was a “conspiracy”. An official Chinese Academy of Sciences video to mark the launch of the new biosafety level 4 laboratory in May 2017 speaks about the security precautions that are in place if “an accident” occurs and reveals there had been “intense clashes” with the French Government during the construction of the laboratory. The video shows bats being held in a cage at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, along with vision of a scientist feeding a bat with a worm. The World Health Organisation report investigating the origin of the pandemic failed to mention that any bats had been kept at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and only its annex referred to animals being housed there. “The animal room in the P4 facility can handle a variety of species, including primate work with SARS-CoV-2,” it states. A member of the World Health Organisation team investigating the origin of the pandemic in Wuhan, zoologist Peter Daszak said it was a conspiracy to suggest bats were held at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. In one tweet dated December, 2020 he said: “No BATS were sent to Wuhan lab for genetic analysis of viruses collected in the field. That’s now how this science works. We knew it was entirely possible because diff erent versions of the same scam had been reported, where victims of theft were talked into revealing their PINs in several clever scams around the UK. We took elements from diff erent scams to illustrate exactly how someone might be duped into giving someone else complete access to their bank account. xiv FOREWORD To prove our point we set up the scam at a local cafe. The cafe was on the top floor of a mall on Oxford Street in London. It was relatively quiet as I sat at an empty table wearing a business suit. I placed my briefcase on the table and waited for a suitable victim. In a few moments, just such a victim arrived with a friend and sat at the table next to mine, placing her bag on the seat beside her. As was probably her habit, she pulled the seat close and kept her hand on the bag at all times. I needed to steal the entire bag, but, with her hand resting on it and her friend sitting opposite, she was beginning to look like bad news. But, after a few minutes, her friend left to find a restroom. The mark was alone so I gave Alex and Jess the signal. Playing the part of a couple, Alex and Jess asked the mark if she would take a picture of them both. She was happy to do so. She removed her hand from her bag to take the camera and snap a picture of the “happy couple” and, while distracted, I casually reached over, took her bag, and calmly locked it inside my briefcase. My victim was yet to notice the empty chair as Alex and Jess left the cafe. Once out of sight, Alex headed quickly for the parking garage. It didn’t take long for her to realize her bag was gone. Instantly, she began to panic. She stood up and looked around, frantically. This was exactly what we were hoping for so, I asked her if she needed help. She started to ask me if I had seen anything. I told her I hadn’t but convinced her to sit down and think about what was in the bag. A phone. Make-up. A little cash. And her credit cards. Bingo! I asked who she banked with and then told her that I worked for that bank. What a stroke of luck! I reassured her that everything would be fine but she would need to cancel her credit card right away. I called the “help-desk” number, which was actually Alex, and handed my phone to her. She was hooked and it was now up to Alex to reel her in. Alex was downstairs in the van. On the dashboard, a CD player was playing office noises we had downloaded from the Internet. He kept the mark calm, strung her along, and then assured her that her card could easily be canceled but, to verify her identity, she needed to enter her PIN on the keypad of the phone she was using. My phone and my keypad. You can guess the rest. Once we had her PIN, I left her with her friend and headed for the door. If we were real thieves, we would have had access to her account via ATM withdrawals and chip and PIN purchases. Fortunately for her, it was just a TV show and she was so happy when I came back to return her bag and tell her it was all a fake scam. She even thanked me for giving her bag back to which I replied, “Don’t thank me. I’m the one who stole it.” FOREWORD xv No matter how secure a system is, there’s always a way to break through. Often, the human elements of the system are the easiest to manipulate and deceive. Creating a state of panic, using influence, manipulation tactics, or causing feelings of trust are all methods used to put a victim at ease. 
 The scenario outlined here is an extreme example, but it shows that, with a little creativity, seemingly impossible scams can be pulled off . 
 The first step in becoming more secure is simply conceding that a system is vulnerable and can be compromised. On the contrary, by believing a breach is impossible, a blindfold is placed over your eyes as you run full speed ahead. Instead, the Right has simply acted with more cohesion, and consciously worked at influencing policy makers and politicians at an ideological level, while the Left has adopted a more haphazard reactive approach to tempering the excesses of our capitalist society. In most cases researchers have also tended to assume that liberal funders have only had noble(progressive) intentions to strengthen democracy, and while this may be true to a point, this paper will demonstrate that this charity is ultimately given to sustain capitalism (albeit a less harsh version compared with that proposed by their fellow Right-wing philanthropists). Using the example of George Soros’ philanthropic foundations—the best known one being his Open Society Institute—which at one point were distributing some $500 million a year to ostensibly progressive causes, this paper will highlight Soros’ involvement in creating and/or sustaining ‘independent’media outlets worldwide. This paper will provide a brief sketch of the contours of Soros’ global media empire, which unlike Rupert Murdoch’s, is barely mentioned (let alone criticized) by communications researchers.
